Open Post: Hosted By Missy Elliott Bringing Fly Dominatrix Hotness To “VH1 Hip Hop Honors”

VH1 Hip Hop Honors aired last night, and the theme was The 90s Game Changers, so there were performances by Warren G, Trina, Trick Daddy, Lil’ Kim, Xscape, Fat Joe and Mimi, who will need to undergo physical therapy for at least three weeks since she really strained her legs by walking more than two steps on her own. Sure, VH1 fucked up by not including SWV, TLC and one of my favorite 90s rappers Sylk-E Fyne, but they made up for it by bringing out Missy Elliott and her chorus of steampunk goth insects.

A recreation of Missy’s She’s A Bitch video was jizzed up onto the stage, and the Madonna to CeeLo’s Gaga gave it so hard in latex that I’m sure many people ran off to the ER with rubber burns to their eyeballs. If The Fly was turned into a hip-hop musical using outfits from Burning Man…

  1. Whoo! 4:20 am here. Why am I still up?
Oh well, it is what it is.
Sweet dreams to anyone about to succumb, and for those in daytime time zones, hope you’re having a great day.

  2. I pretty much listen to the oldies channels while driving, (w/a sprinkling of contemporary music, just to remain au courant πŸ™‚

  10. Addiction fuckedup the entire family. Because I don’t drink (much) Im the crazy, insane one who makes poor decisions.

  11. That was fucking great…dayum.

  12. makes sense to me. I have to change my food and am eating the bad stuff and replacing it with the better stuff. I can’t be wasteful…itwill haunt me forever like the jeans I paid full price ($58) for in 2005

  13. Yep. Lots of unwarranted nudity and sex. And so many blatant plotholes.

  14. Really? Your chin bone is connected to your bladder bone?

  15. I love the original, but the remake is a clusterfuck.

Was it on the outside of the ear, and did they use a laser on it? My vet uses a laser to treat wounds, and it really speeds up the healing time. It’s really not expensive, either.

  17. A girl I follow on Instagram, she is a beauty blogger on the side but a full time lawyer, had a panel interview with 7 or 8 lawyers as her first interview. She interviewed and had background checks for over a month but did get the job. Good luck, how scary and intimidating.

I’m so sorry. My first Goldie with my ex had severe bilateral hip dysplasia, and we maintained her on medication for her life. We didn’t do the femoral head removals that were an option. My big male has some hip issues now, but he is 10, arthritic, and being maintained on Rimadyl, as well. I also give him cosequin DS twice daily, and am helping him with weight loss. It’s so hard to see them suffer, but both doggies have done well with meds.
I hope you find a good solution for your girl.

  19. Are you overweight too? I used to get heartburn literally every night. Once I started working out and lost a bit of weight and didn’t go crazy with the eating I very rarely have it.

I am not super logical with food either and will pretty much over eat if I don’t watch myself.

Hey. I love that stuff. My mother put it in fully 50% of the stuff we ate.

    Yum! That’s the best!

I hope that’s true. It would be wonderful if it really could do all the things said.
This all just reminds me of when DMSO became the cure-all in the early 80’s. People went crazy for it, and thought it could cure almost anything. Celebrities were calling and wanting treatment, and some came for it, but eventually it became clear that it was usable for a few things only.
Whenever I am on FB, and someone posts about whatever they have going on physically, there are at least one or two who encourage the use of mj as total treatment/cure for whatever it is. Smoke, edibles, oil, etc. to cure everything, and I just don’t buy it.
