Open Post: Hosted By Steven Tyler As A Vision In White

Look, I love a comfortable, loose fitting, crisp white v-neck shirt dress as much as the next guy. It’s elegant, yet understated, simple but classic. It quietly assures “I have money but I’m not going to rub it in your face.” It’s as appropriate at a red carpet event (think Diane Keaton at a Nancy Meyers movie premiere) as it is at a garden party in the Hamptons (think Diane Keaton at Nancy Meyers’ house).

But I’m here to tell you, Steven Tyler has got this classic look twisted. Steven showed up at the Celebrity Fight Night Final Gala 2017 at Cinecitta Studios (how does he get all the good invites?!?!) looking like Martha Stewart on the top, Dr. Frankenstein’s monster on the bottom with some sloppy black pants and chunky black shoes. Those sad, baggy black pants don’t even fit. And not one decorative scarf to tie this look together? I would have expected more out of Steven.

I will hand it to him though. The pockets (who doesn’t love a pocket!) and casually cuffed sleeve are divine, and Steven is doing an excellent job working his angles and finding the light. It’s just…I don’t want to see him flounce onto a cushy white couch clutching a paperback and a glass of pinot gris with those fucking clodhopper boots on!

Here’s some more of Steven in the outfit that was ALMOST perfect.

    Good to know
    Prefers poison to mayo
    I kiddd I kiddd

  2. VeryOldSyntheticBabyBat

Bebe me either.. I wanted to set a Wide NO barrier

  3. Contessa Bel Raven

Lol that’s why we moms need to stay out of it lol

  4. Apparently they made up! Crazy.

  5. Contessa Bel Raven

Parents, teachers and even adult neighbours have had authority/power stripped and often childless gov’t ppl have decided they know better how to raise kids. It’s kids who have been given the power and they are often not equipped to wield it responsibly

  6. Contessa Bel Raven

Thanks! Hope your son recovers from his 💔 soon. Stealing image btw 😜

  7. Contessa Bel Raven

Too true! Why bother comment? Yeah I noticed the defence was weak. At least I won’t have to be subject to her comments anymore. Block block block! No time for hateful ppl in my escape. Deal with enough of them in real life 🤣🤣🤣

  8. Norma in Lakewood

Well, of course! It was Buffy, right? Mark was way before that.

  9. Haha. And she’s no fan of the K-trash either. I loathe them, too, but you’re not gonna see me go back to one of their stories hours after it was posted and comment away on how shitty they are over and over and over again. That’s Pathetic with a capital P.
Chances are if you hate something so much to where you have no problem talking about it for hours on end and make weak defenses when others come at you for your heinous hateful obsession, it’s likely that they secretly like that one thing. If I hate something soooo much, why should I waste my time posting about it endlessly on a gossip site?

  10. LOL that you called her “ducky”!
“Many people” have said that, huh? Snarky, witty, insightful bunch, all of them. NOT.

You should have showed her that screenshot of her “boundless sympathy” comment on AJ’s kids, and followed it up by her posts on Maddox and Shiloh. It may not have to do with race, but I’d like to know what junk she’d come up with if she saw that!

  11. It was a joke because he allegedly called a black co worker got chocolate 😉

  12. I watched the show decades ago but I don’t remember her having a brother! Do you remember her crazy sister Silver??

  13. Wear a dress if you like, but a Betty Draper wrap dress? Steven, let me help style you.

  14. yeah Nashville is home. I never wanted to move to NYC, but I went for him.

And I absolutely do not. I have no idea what I’m gonna do. I can’t leave my dad alone with the dogs cuz my TM has to be on a leash and there’s the risk of him pulling my dad over (he’s elderly and not in great shape).

    I don’t know and it’s killing me.

  15. No, something about saying thank you iirc.

  16. Norma in Lakewood

Awww, where’s Michael? Erica’s brother died (All My Children’s Mark Lamura). https://uploads.disquscdn.c

  17. Sending you good thoughts! https://uploads.disquscdn.c

  18. Hoping you are having a good day! https://uploads.disquscdn.c

  19. I hope life picks up for YOU soon! https://uploads.disquscdn.c

  20. Contessa Bel Raven

I am working on it. Just a matter if I have a bereakdown before that happens or not. Of course, that may actually help show housing how bad it’s been for me

  21. So she pays so she can continue trolling on a small site like this? LOL how pathetic

  22. It’s too bad we can’t parent as a village anymore. She sounds like an asshole, but also a lost asshole that could benefit from some help. Bottom line is the way things are nobody can do anything about it and you need to look out for yourself. Organize your neighbors, and approach management as a group.

They may not kick them out right away but they’ll be much more serious in their warnings, and it will all be documented. When it comes to peace and money, they’ll never side with one person over the demands of the whole unit.

  23. I know. I like Dlisted well enough and I know we like to think of it as some sort of well adjusted place but I’ve seen plenty of quiet nastiness when I’m actually on my computer and can see the upvotes. There is plenty of silent racism, classism, sexism, lgbtphobia, body shaming etc expressed in upvotes alone. I also know some people view that as pc/sjw bullshit and lament “how it used to be”. But you don’t have to do all that to be funny. And the people who were funniest didn’t do that sort of shit.

I think half the problem is at least the articles. If you present something someone DID as an action, it’s easier to snark on. When you’re just posting clickbaits about an individual all anyone has is comments on their person. So and so is fat, so and so is a thug, so and so is a whore. It’s annoying.
